Tips for the best voiceover
Best speed for YouTube
Set speed to 0.90x–0.95x for voiceovers. Slightly slower than normal sounds more professional and clearer for your audience.
Use punctuation for pauses
Commas create short pauses. Full stops create longer pauses. Add "..." for dramatic effect. This makes the voice sound natural, not robotic.
Best voice for tutorials
Use Sage (UK) or Aria (Natural) preset with pitch 1.0 and speed 0.92x for the clearest, most professional tutorial narration.
Spell out abbreviations
Write "N. G. N." not "NGN". Write "Windows eleven" not "Windows 11". Write "G. B." not "GB". This gives much clearer pronunciation.
Break long scripts into parts
For videos over 10 minutes, split your script into sections and record each separately. This prevents Chrome from cutting off the speech midway.

Tips for accurate transcription
Use a quiet room
Background noise reduces accuracy. Find a quiet space or use a headset with a microphone for best results. Fan noise and traffic are common problems.
Speak clearly and at normal pace
Do not rush or mumble. Speak each word clearly. Pausing between sentences helps the engine process each one correctly before you continue.
Chrome gives best accuracy
Google Chrome uses Google's speech engine which is the most accurate available. Microsoft Edge also works well. Firefox is not supported.
Use for YouTube captions
Read your script aloud while recording. Download the transcript and paste it into YouTube Studio as manual captions — saves hours of editing time.
